Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Construction Framer to join our team. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in constructing the framework of residential buildings, ensuring they are structurally sound and meet quality standards.


Responsibilities:

Familiarize yourself with architectural plans and schematics to understand the layout and specifications of the framing structure.


Choose appropriate materials (studs, joists, rafters, etc.) and prepare them by measuring, cutting, and shaping using hand and power tools.


Assemble and install framing structures, including walls, floors, and roofs, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity.


Install windows, doors, and other fixtures within the framed structure.


Inspect and repair damaged framing structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.


Demonstrate precision and attention to detail in all framing tasks.


Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of construction projects.


Skills

Physical Strength and Dexterity:

Framing work requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks with precision and accuracy.



Carpentry Skills:


Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as hammers, saws, levels, and nail guns.


Mathematical Skills: Ability to measure accurately and calculate dimensions for framing structures.


Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve on-site challenges and adapt to changing conditions.


Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients.


Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction framing

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship


Knowledge of Building Codes and Safety Regulations: Understanding and adhering to local building codes and safety standards is essential.
